Blessed

A wonderful friend of mine started sharing her daily life on her blog so, I thought I would give it a shot. While reading my friends blog I went to one of her friends listed on the side of her page and then on to someone elses page. I ended up on a young couples page. This young couple had their first baby that had some health issues. I kept reading and reading to find out what the problem was that this little boy had. I went all the way back to last year. I read that the couple was to have twins and one twin died shortly after birth. This just makes me count every blessing in my life and not to take anything for granted.

Even though my girls seem to be little monsters at times, they are my little blessings from God. God gave me my two girls healthy and without complications. Now it is my job to teach them to wonderful young women and upstanding citizens. God has entrusted me to mold their lives and keep them safe. I just pray to God that I am doing everything right.

Rebecca, who is 3, says her prayers every night. She says it so clear and cute. That is one indication that I am on the right road to bringing up my girls in the light of the Lord. My youngest, Annie, who is 21 months, does her best in saying her prayers. The words aren't quite there but her whole heart is in it. I know she doesn't understand the meaning but that will come later. I am just so blessed to have a wonderful family.
This picture was taken about a week ago. My husband, Matt, got the girls a little green house. They planted their seeds and are ready for the flowers to start growing. The girls ask to see the flowers every day. It did not take long for them to sprout up. I guess the next step is to plant them outside or in a larger pot soon. The girls had a lot of fun doing this project with their daddy. As you can tell in this picture both girls were told to say cheese and that is exactly what they are doing.
